Ferrari 400 & 412 400GT and 400A
Introduced at Paris Motorshow in 1976, an evolution of 365GT4 2+2. Fitted with three-speed automatic transmission (400A). Both models used 4823cc (81x78mm) V12 engine with power output of 340 BHP @ 6500 RPM. After they were fitted with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system a total of 884 automatic and 424 manual versions were built. 412
Presented in 1985, the replacement for 365. The first Ferrari to be fitted with ABS. Used 4943cc (82x78mm) V12 with 340 BHP @ 6000 RPM. With this engine it could make 0-100 km/h in 8.2s and standing km in 28.3s Ventilated discs all round with servo assistance allowed braking from 100km/h in 47.7m. |
