Ferrari 308 Dino 308 GT/4
Car used brand new 2927cc 90deg V8 engine with power output 250 BHP @ 7700 RPM. Released at Paris Motorshow in 1973. Car was unique by the way a body was designed. Designer's name was Bertone and it was the first Ferrari to be done by that designer. Remained in production until 1980 with a total of 2826 examples constructed. 308 GTB
Introduced at Paris Motorshow in 1975. Used same engine as 308 GT/4 with total power of 240 BHP @ 7700 RPM (255 BHP for Europe because it used dry-sump lubrication). Production ended in 1979 with around 2897 car built. 308 GTS
Presented at Frankfurt Motorshow in 1977. Technical specifications were the same as for 308 GTB. About 3219 examples were built until 1980. 308 GTBi/GTSi
Both were fitted with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and a Marelli Digiplex electronic ignition. Now power dropped to 214 BHP - Europe and 208 BHP for USA. This car was also used for rallying. In two years 494 GTBi's and 1749 GTSi's were built. 308 GTB/GTS Quattrovalvole With adoption of four-valves-per-cylinder (Quattrovalvole) engines recieved an increased power output - 240 BHP. From 1982, when car was presented at Paris Motorshow, until 1985 748 GTB QV's and 3042 GTS QV's were built. |
