Here is Neil with his signature drums set. His set includes 14 cymbals, 3 chinas, a xylophone, 7 toms, 4 bongos , 2 bass drums, and 5 electric drum pads.

Bio

Neil Peart was born on September 12, 1952 , in Hamiltion, Ontario Canada. When Neil turned 13, he bagan taking drum lessons. These lessons would eventually shape one of the greastest drummers of all time. In 1970 Neil moved to London, England. After a short period in London moved back to Canada to back into the music. This was when he met Alex Lifeson, and Geddy Lee( The other 2/3 of Rush). Neil auditioned for the two, and in 1974 Neil got the call, and
Rush was formed. Aside from being the drummer, Neil was and still is the cheif lyricicst in the group.

Along with being one of the greatest drummers of all time, Neil Peart is an author. He has written the books, The Masked Rider Cycling in West Africa, and Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road. Along with novels, he has written books on drumming. Those books include Shock Rock II Drumbeats, Drum Techniques of Rush, and More Drum Techniques of Rush.

Throughout the years Rush has released 25 albums between 1974 and 2002, many which have gone gold and platnium. In 2002 they released Vapor Trails. It is their first studio album in 5 years. They are now getting ready to tour the world. Tragically Neil lost his daughter, Selena, in a 1997 car accident and then lost his wife, Jacqueline, a year later to cancer.
