DESCRIPTION OF THE SIRENS The Sirens were part bird and part woman. They had the wings and legs of a birf but the head and torso of a woman. The Sirens are sisters who lure sailors to their death. The song of the Sirens is irrestable but, the they reside beyound unpassable reefs which destroy the sailors boat when they try to reach the Sirens. Among those tempted were Jason on the Argo and Odysseus. |
