Apperance
Pale foxes are a pale sandy colour with a black tip on the tail and has elongated, low body, relatively short legs and a narrow muzzle. Its ear are long and rounded at the tip. The pupil of its eye generally appears ellipyical in strong light. The body length of pale fox is from 40-45cm long. The tail length is from 25-30cm long. The standing height is about 25 cm. The weight of pale fox is about 2-3 kg.
 
Diet
Pale foxes feed on insects, reptiles, small mammals and plants. For examples, they eat berries, fruits, vegetables, rodents, small birds, lizards, and eggs.
 
Reproduction
There are 51-53 days in the gestation period of the pale fox. Three to six young are born per birth. Each pup weights 1.7-3.8 ounces, or 50-100g. The weaning period takes 6-8 weeks.
 
Distribution
The pale fox, are also known as the "pallid fox" and the "african sand fox", that lives in central Africa in south of the Sahara like Senegal, Somalia, and Sudan. They live in the arid areas of their range, but sometimes are found in wooded areas.
