Apperance
Indian (Bengal) foxes have reddish-brown fur. Body length: 50cm Tail length: 25-30cm Standing height: 26-28cm Weight:3-4kg.
Their diet is widely varied, including insects, reptiles, small mammals, eggs and fruit.
Indian foxes have a gestation period of 51-53 days, after which they give birth to 3-6 cubs, which weigh 50-100g.
Distribution
Indian foxes inhabit Nepal, India and Bangladesh south of the Himalayas.
