Equipment For Skateboarding all ou really need is a skateboard. A
skateboard consists of 3 main parts; the deck, wheels and
trucks. The deck is the wooden board. The trucks are the
metal axel assemblies, mounted underneath the deck. They
hold the wheels and allow the board to turn. Wheels are what
make the board move. A few other parts you will need are
griptape, mounting hardware and risers. Skateboarding can be alot of fun, but it also has its
risks involved. When you begin skateboarding, you might want
to look in to buying safety equipment. A few pieces of key
equipment are a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist
guards. If you wish to skate vert (halfpipe) then it is
highly recomended that you wear all of these pieces of
safety equipment. Although most people that skate street
choose not to wear any safety equipment, it is highly
